The app is overall easy to use, but it is very annoying to use and heres the main reasons why: 1) The "Sort" settings when searching for specific vehicles doesnt work at all sometimes. For instance, if i want to sort from lowest price, it is just a random listing instead of ordered by price. 2) when i set my search preferences (i.e. 4wd tacoma only), it lists all of the tacomas available and i still have to sift through to find the 4x4s. Which brings me to my 3rd complaint. If i scroll through 50 vehicles and click on one to look at its pictures then click the "back to results" button, it automatically starts over from the top. Lots of needed changes.

I love the content of this app. I use it almost daily. I absolutely cannot understand why the developers feel the need to constantly change the layout. As it stands right now, the layout is a huge counterintuitive pain. Why and how is searching for a car different if Im "shopping" for, as opposed to "researching," a car? Please put the app back the way it was and STOP mindlessly tinkering with it.

It lets you know about all made/models of cars and problems on each car before you buying them.

This new layout is terrible. Im no longer able to set parameters and compare results. Viewing one car at a time and switching screens in order to compare info is cumbersome and ultimately makes the app useless. The two-star rating is strictly for the content. Otherwise this new version is a solid one star.

Whats everyone complaining about!? Try Edmunds mobile site-now thats something to complain about! Talk about a sales web of traps. The app version is PERFECT for research, and if you want to check out sales, you have the choice w/o feeling trapped! Love this app.

If you are looking to purchase a car this is the app for you. Hands down the best app for researching and purchasing a new vehicle.

Filters do not work. Useless for searching and comparing vehicles!

Plenty of information all in one place!!

This is my second review of the app. My last review gave 1 start due to many new inconveniences added. This newer update is a lot better. Though not as good as it was in the old interface, this one is okay. Takes a little getting used to before i liked this version, but I kinda like it now.

I have using Edmunds for many many years and I love it. Good work Edmund!! I have bought more than a half a dozen of cards with your help and Ill continue to do so. Youre easy to navigate through. All those pictures help too. I highly suggest you use it with confidence and now that I have it in my phone as an app I take it with me everywhere. Thanks Edmund, you keep getting better and better.

Looking for a next vehicle has led to hours of researching among models, prices paid, differences in trim and reviews. This Edmunds app does all the above!! Not only is Edmunds tops when it comes to model reviews (difference between a Limited and Overland trim on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee? Edmunds knows!) but this app is intuitive enough to make that easily accessible!!

Crashes every time I use it!!! Tried deleting and downloading again. No use. Edmunds used to be great. Horrible now. Only thing worse is their website!

Ive always used Edmunds to research for a vehicle. The app is a great tool to do this on the go! #winning

This is a great app and is easy to use. Same info that I looked at via my pc. I find it easier to use the app on the iPad then trying to use it via the browser on the iPad.

Once again, theyve taken away the simple option to select new or used when researching. I dont get it. Put it in and leave it alone. Its like driving a car and finding each time you drive that the gas pedal has been moved. And theyre ok with screwing with the functionality back and forth like that. Annoying! If the content werent so good, Id knock off more stars. But its still the best option out there for auto reviews. Ive been changing my reviews as theyve fixed this and then broken it again, but now Im just going to leave it negative until its been fixed for a few weeks straight. Really disappointing. Update: With the latest app update, still no way to filter out used makes & models.

I regret I updated the app. Now the UI is so bad I cant find anything. Im gonna start using other apps because this happens all the time: you have a good UI and you change it into garbage.

This latest update took out a lot of what was good using this app such as if you are looking for used car and select 2015, for example, once you are in the selected make, model & year under the "Filter" menu you had the ability select to expand the year search to 2014,2015,2016 etc., but now thats not available. Youd have to go all the way back to year and select one year at a time..., thats kind of going backwards. Where are the Invoice price of cars? This is garbage update. This happened all the time. You improve then go all the way back to useless status. I guess its better to look for alternative apps than this I undependable app.

Im not even sure what this app is for. Im looking for a used car, and thought this app would help me find one. Confusing. Frustrating. Not intuitive at all. Ill stick with the cars.com app. Ugh.

Doesnt do what it purports to. Cant find correct models within brand.

You guys disabled the swipe right gesture to go back in this update, now we have to press the arrow to go back to each menu which is annoying. Please bring it back because it was very convenient for people with big phones like myself. Also the new interface is awful.
